Raquel Figueira is a Portuguese artist based in London, working across multiple mediums including drawing, painting, installation and writing. With a background both in visual arts and sociology, her research focuses on the intersections of politics and aesthetics, particularly how ecology and visual culture are shaped by and entangled in each other. She is currently a Lecturer in Visual Culture at LABASAD and runs her own design studio supporting organisations with a social purpose.
